XRUN has completed an app update and is expanding its marketing focus on the Korean market. The core of this update is to improve content quality, advance the user rewards system, and introduce an in-app store to expand the use of XRUN tokens. XRUN said it collaborated with domestic and international media labs to bolster the reliability and completeness of content. It also redesigned the user interface and reorganized the rewards system to enable more transparent and systematic rewards.
Through these changes, the company aims to deliver brand-focused, high-quality content and personalized experiences while strengthening the reliability and efficiency of rewards, thereby improving efficiency and user experience. It expects to boost XRUN participation and expand within the platform. A standout feature is the ability to exchange XRUN tokens for real goods and services within the app store. The company said, “Beyond simple point accumulation, it’s meaningful to implement a structure where XRUN tokens are connected to real-world consumption,” and explained, “We aim to build a flow from participation to token usage to tangible consumption that aligns with the real-world asset trend.”
Going forward, the company plans to expand its domestic user base and strengthen partnerships with advertisers and brands, while continuously exploring RWA-linked use cases. It also said it would broaden the lineup of partner products centered in the app store and gradually introduce community-driven services and real-use-based reward models.
