JPMorgan Chase & Co. is weighing a move into cryptocurrency trading for its institutional clients as major banks deepen their involvement in digital assets. The bank is assessing what products and services its markets division could offer to expand its footprint in cryptocurrencies, according to a person familiar with the plans who asked not to be identified.

The offerings under consideration could include spot and derivatives trading, among other crypto-related products. Details about the plans remain private, the person said, as JPMorgan evaluates its options.
