Tether is developing a mobile cryptocurrency wallet with integrated AI features that will support only Bitcoin (BTC), USDT, the new stablecoin USAT, and tokenized gold XAUT. The project will use private AI processed locally through the QVAC platform, according to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino. The wallet is slated to be supported by Tether’s WDK and QVAC tooling, with WDK described as the open-source wallet development toolkit and QVAC as the decentralized AI platform launched by the company.
The wallet will be backed by WDK and QVAC tooling, reinforcing its foundation on open-source and decentralized AI technologies. WDK is the open-source wallet development toolkit, while QVAC is Tether’s decentralized AI platform designed to enable on-device AI processing. By focusing AI processing locally, the project aims to enhance privacy and reduce reliance on cloud-based AI services.
