Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz, known for his support of cryptocurrencies, recently spoke about XRP and Cardano (ADA). He has previously spoken highly of XRP and praised the strong communities behind both XRP and Cardano tokens.
Novogratz’s comments come after he previously downplayed XRP and ADA. He had argued that XRP’s rise was unreal and described ADA as a “strange cult.” However, he has now abandoned that view, emphasizing that the belief and commitment of the community behind the projects is a critical factor in determining the long-term value of cryptocurrencies.
He cited XRP and ADA as examples, stating “Cardano and XRP have strong communities.” In a November interview, Novogratz admitted he was wrong about XRP, noting that after a long struggle, XRP had become a real currency, exceeded expectations, changed the narrative, and built a community strong enough to transform a token into a functional monetary asset.
