The Solana (SOL) blockchain achieved massive network revenue in 2025, outpacing Ethereum (ETH) and Hyperliquid (HYPE). Year-to-date, Solana revenue has reached about $1.5 billion, according to Blockworks Research. Over the past year, Solana generated more than $1.5 billion in revenue, while Hyperliquid posted $780 million and Ethereum $690 million. The surge comes almost entirely from user-paid fees on billions of transactions across meme coin trading, launches, DeFi activity, and consumer applications.

In 2025, Solana processed billions of transactions, far ahead of most chains in daily active users and throughput. August alone saw 2.9 billion transactions. Solana cofounder Anatoly Yakovenko celebrated the milestone on X, noting a median user transaction fee of less than a penny. He emphasized capacity increases and cost reductions as key drivers of revenue growth.
