Exclusive Collaboration: Nexpace’s MMORPG, MapleStory N, teams up with crypto brand Pudgy Penguins for a special event featuring unique in-game items until January 28. Nexpace, known for MapleStory N, has launched a month-long promotional event with Pudgy Penguins, a notable digital brand. This partnership introduces unique gameplay elements and exclusive items within MapleStory, with a dedicated store offering limited editions like the King Pengu Pet and the Magic Igloo, the latter including 22 cosmetic items. Raffle entries are available for the Pengu Winter Snowcatcher costume set, all purchasable with NESO currency.

The collaboration includes engaging activities such as the Welcome Pudgy World event where players can trade Pudgy Jelly for exclusive items. Additional activities encouraging participation are “Raise Pudgy to Hero,” focusing on leveling up, “Penguins and the Sea” which involves ice fishing for rewards, and “Pudgy Pink Bean’s Mystery Staff” for significant EXP boosts. Players can also enjoy “Pudgy Fireworks” and “Pudgy Power Crystal Airdrop” events that offer unique rewards through interactive gameplay.

Nexpace is advancing its blockchain strategy by initiating a quarterly burn of NXPC tokens. The first burn will destroy 3.8 million NXPC tokens, representing 20% of tokens generated by MapleStory Universe operations, to effectively manage token supply within the ecosystem. Furthermore, in November, Nexpace introduced a $50 million ecosystem fund dedicated to enhancing the MapleStory Universe and broadening blockchain-related activities, including projects that utilize AI and tokenized assets. To ensure fairness and integrity, Nexpace banned 640,000 botting accounts (about 37% of the total account population), driving an 82% reduction in botting, and introduced a new KYC re-verification system to reinforce account integrity.
