Crypto markets have been range-bound, with a handful of meme tokens showing intraday strength. White Whale, a Solana-based meme coin, rose 37.99% to $0.1465, lifting its market capitalization to about $146 million, data from CoinMarketCap show as of 8:50 p.m. KST on Jan. 10.
Another meme coin on the Binance Smart Chain, Laozi, surged 11,331% to $0.009154 at the same time. The moves come as the broader market trades sideways, with meme coins among the few notable gainers.
