Dunamu, Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange operator behind Upbit, has launched a new initiative to bolster small businesses during a challenging economic period. The program, announced in mid-January, is the second activity under Dunamu’s Cheer Up! social contribution campaign and is conducted in collaboration with Cash Note, a small business management service. The effort aims to provide practical, ongoing support beyond one-off gifts by offering free tools to help store operators manage fixed costs more efficiently.

Dunamu emphasized that the initiative is designed to provide tangible relief to storefront operators contending with high costs and subdued consumer demand, and it signals the company’s ongoing commitment to exploring projects with positive societal impact. Meanwhile, the Upbeat Cheer Up! project is an annual campaign designed to support those who are struggling in their respective positions, such as studies, careers, and economic activities. The first campaign, which was conducted earlier, received favorable reviews by delivering “cheering scholarships” to young people suffering from economic difficulties.
