Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute announced on the 13th that it has formed a partnership with Injective, the global blockchain network. Through this partnership, the institute aims to bolster the network’s stability and support its global expansion.
As part of the collaboration, researchers will study the domestic feasibility of real-world asset tokenization (RWA) and on-chain financial structures. Considering Korea’s regulatory environment and market characteristics, they plan to assess the feasibility, regulatory alignment, and market acceptance of RWA structures.
An Injective representative said that this partnership is expected to accelerate research and discussions in Asia on on-chain finance, stablecoins, and RWA. In-ho, head of Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute, explained that through cooperation with a global blockchain network they will broaden research from theory to practical studies applicable to industry and regulatory environments. He added that they will continue research on digital assets and RWA relevant to the Korean market.
