Domestic Exchange Coinone has identified a Bitcoin-only “super whale” holding more than KRW 38 billion in BTC. Another investor earned about KRW 9.77 billion in profit from altcoins, representing a return above 1,000%.
The year-end report shows the top BTC holder in the exchange’s system holds roughly KRW 38.2 billion in BTC. XRP was the most mentioned asset in the Coinone community, with 19,755 XRP-tagged posts, accounting for about 12.8% of all posts. Buy-certified posts outnumbered sells at 82% to 18%, while profit-certified posts outpaced losses at 67% to 33%.
Small-investor activity dominated, with 93% of trading attestations under KRW 1 million. The community’s activity level rose, with 4,452 daily “perfect attendance” participants in 2025, roughly 1.5 times higher than the previous year.
