Bitcoin traded around KRW 133,570,000 per coin on the Bithumb exchange as of 4 p.m. local time, up about 0.28% from midnight. Ethereum rose about 1.15% to around KRW 44,740,000. XRP and Solana also advanced, up 0.59% and 0.47%, to roughly KRW 2,896 and KRW 193,100, respectively.

The rebound followed remarks from President Trump at Davos, where he signaled that no tariffs would be imposed on European nations next month and expressed support for legislation aimed at fostering the digital asset industry. He said he hopes to sign the related bills soon, with the aim of positioning the United States as a leading crypto hub.

CoinMarketCap’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index stood at 34, still in Fear territory but higher than yesterday’s 32, suggesting a modest improvement in investor sentiment. The index implies that very low scores indicate fear and potential overselling, while higher scores near 100 signal greed and greater downside risk.
