Upbit, a leading South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for ARDR and IGNIS tokens starting at 3:00 a.m. UTC on February 2, 2025, to support a major Ardor network hard fork upgrade that requires enhanced security measures. During the upgrade, deposits and withdrawals will be paused. ARDR and IGNIS trading on Upbit’s order book will continue. Transfers to and from external wallets are halted during the maintenance.

The hard fork will implement upgrades across Ardor’s parent-child chain architecture, strengthening network functionality and security. Upbit says the move aligns with global best practices and ensures user protection and regulatory compliance. The exchange will resume services once the upgrade is completed and the system is validated.
