CCSS is an internationally recognised framework designed specifically for crypto systems, focusing on crypto-specific risks such as key management, access controls, and operational safeguards. The certification, conducted by Hacken, confirms that Remitano meets internationally recognised baseline security requirements for crypto platforms. The Level 1 audit reviewed the entire operating environment, including asset protection mechanisms, internal governance, access controls, and continuous risk monitoring.
Key aspects evaluated included the management and protection of cryptographic keys, internal access and permission controls, and system operations and monitoring to mitigate risks of unauthorized asset loss. Remitano notes that security is an ongoing commitment and will continue to invest in security architecture, regular third-party audits, and continuous system improvements. With the CCSS Level 1 certification, Remitano reinforces its security, transparency, and best practices for its growing user base, and the completion will be listed on the CCSS registry for independent verification, strengthening its position as a trusted fiat-to-crypto gateway.
