Bitcoin rose 1.42% to 130,100,000 won ($89,285) as a tech-stock rally boosted sentiment for risk assets. In U.S. dollar terms, the price sits at about $89,285. The cryptocurrency has hovered in a range around 127.9 million to 130.0 million won, with the late-127 million won area giving way to the early-130 million won zone. Ethereum advanced 2.95%, Solana gained 2.27%, and XRP rose 1.27% as top altcoins tracked the broad upmove.

The kimchi premium for Bitcoin stood at 1.29%, indicating domestic prices remain modestly above foreign markets. Market sentiment, measured by the fear-and-greed index, shifted to 29, moving from extreme fear toward fear. Analysts also note that a weaker dollar has renewed demand for Bitcoin as a hedge and alternative asset, potentially fueling the rally.
