DataCityWeMarket’s RWAHUB and Daytam (DATAM KOREA) have joined forces to pursue the global carbon-reduction Real World Asset (RWA) market, focusing on a Web3.0-based carbon platform. The alliance seeks to broaden collaboration across international carbon mechanisms and to secure a leading position in the growing global carbon market.
Under the agreement, Daytam will helm the Web3.0 carbon platform technology capable of supporting SDM, ITMO, and VCM certifications across the group’s global carbon-reduction projects. The collaboration includes a government-funded project in China linked to CCER worth about KRW 600 billion, with pilot cities selected, and will record real-world performance on the blockchain to enhance transparency.
Daytam’s platform aims to go beyond simple emission calculations, enabling globally recognized carbon-reduction certification in line with international standards. The partnership will extend carbon-reduction initiatives from China into ASEAN and other major markets, tailoring models to each region’s transport and energy structures.
DataCityWeMarket’s Jang Jin-woo described the strategy as one that unites technology, regulatory frameworks, and platform components into a next-generation carbon-market infrastructure. He said the China-ASEAN demonstration could be a pivotal turning point in global carbon-market leadership, with RWAHUB playing a core role in carbon-credit RWAs. Daytam’s Lee Young-cheol pledged continued policy-linked pilots and alignment with global standards to build a trusted Web3-based carbon platform.
