According to Upbit and Bithumb data, the South Korean cryptocurrency market posted a notable increase in trading volume over the past 24 hours, with many altcoins drawing heightened investor interest on both exchanges. Many altcoins, particularly XRP, saw significant investor interest on both major exchanges.
When spot market data from both platforms are combined, XRP emerges as the most traded asset, while major cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum also saw solid volume gains alongside notable altcoins such as Solana, SynFutures, and Lagrange. The top traded assets by combined volume on Upbit and Bithumb were XRP at $346 million, followed by Bitcoin at $230.8 million and Ethereum at $167.9 million.
Other notable movers included Tether ($114.8 million), Solana ($57.7 million), SynFutures ($46.7 million), Brevis ($37.2 million), Zilliqa ($33.7 million) and Lagrange ($33.1 million). Metadium ($29.2 million), Ardor ($22.4 million), Dogecoin ($21.5 million), Kite ($15.6 million), Stacks ($15.5 million) and Enso ($14.9 million) were also among the notable movers.
