Fosun Wealth Holdings has launched FUSD on Avalanche to bridge Asian institutional assets with global liquidity. The stablecoin is designed as a yield-bearing, real-world asset backed instrument that connects traditional finance with the Web3 ecosystem. FUSD is minted natively on the Avalanche C-Chain, positioning Avalanche as its primary liquidity hub and enabling DeFi integrations.
The token is backed by regulated assets, including money market funds and government bonds, and is designed to deliver native yield while remaining fully liquid. Avalanche’s sub-second finality and permissioned infrastructure are cited as key factors for professional cash management and compliant interoperability across blockchains. FinChain plans to expand FUSD through the FinCoin Protocol to enable on-chain issuance, trading, and collateralization of RWAs, and stablecoin creation backed directly by real-world financial instruments.
Beyond FUSD, Fosun Wealth Holdings plans to deploy FinChain and the FinCoin Protocol on Avalanche, enabling end-to-end issuance of tokenized real-world assets, onchain trading and collateralization of RWAs, and stablecoin creation backed directly by real-world financial instruments. This integration establishes institutional credibility and opens a long-term pathway for Asian RWA adoption, moving from institutional reserves to real-world financial utility.
In Japan, Avalanche technology is being used by institutions such as Toyota Blockchain Lab and SMBC Group to explore tokenization, payments, and stablecoin-based financial infrastructure. In South Korea, leading asset managers and financial institutions, including Mirae Asset Global Investments and Woori Bank, are building tokenized funds and bank-backed stablecoins on Avalanche, moving from pilots toward production deployments. With FUSD launching in Hong Kong, Avalanche now anchors institutional RWAs across three of Asia’s influential financial markets. This integration enables more traditional financial assets to seamlessly enter the blockchain world, leveraging the speed and reliability of Avalanche.
