Kraken has acquired Magna, a token-management platform, in what marks its sixth deal in the past year. The transaction, finalized last Friday, is intended to bolster Kraken’s ability to support token issuers from their earliest stages.
Magna specializes in distributing tokens and tracking holder information for crypto companies. Kraken’s co-CEO Arjun Sethi described the move as strategically important as the company advances toward an IPO. Kraken privately filed for an IPO last November and has since released partial 2025 financial data, but no IPO timeline has been disclosed, with management citing regulatory quiet periods.
