Susbarium Shibarium Trustwatch, a Shiba Inu-focused X account dedicated to uncovering scams, issued a security notice about the newly launched SOU NFT. The Shiba Inu team announced the launch of SOU (Shib Owes You), a good faith effort to assist users impacted by last September’s Shibarium hack. We are aware of multiple scam attempts involving the SOU NFT. The SOU NFT will never be airdropped to wallets, and eligible claimants must use the official website.
Fake SOU portals have been flagged, with scammers running phishing sites mirroring the official ones. Lucie, a Shiba Inu team member, warned that these scams aim to drain wallets and urged using only the official portal. Susbarium urges the community not to interact with shared, shortened, or copied links and not to click on them. Always type the official SHIB address directly in your browser to verify the domain before connecting wallets, and never disclose private keys or seed phrases to anyone.
Shiba Inu SOU marks part of efforts to restore users impacted by the Shibarium hack incident last September. The initiative will support impacted Shibarium users with payouts, donations and occasional rewards.
