DataCityWiMarket, operator of the decentralized real-world asset tokenization platform RWAHUB, announced on the 25th that it has signed a global sales agreement with Songshan Chinese Porcelain Museum to spearhead the tokenization of the museum’s cultural assets as Real World Assets (RWA) for global markets. The collaboration positions DataCityWiMarket to convert assets such as Chinese porcelain and Hongshan jade into digital assets on the blockchain, expanding access to a wider base of investors and collectors worldwide.

By bringing real-world assets onto the blockchain, the partnership aims to cross borders and widen participation in cultural asset investment. Songshan Chinese Porcelain Museum houses extensive collections of Chinese porcelain and jade artifacts, including items from the Hongshan culture, and is led by Kim Hee-il, a former overseas entrepreneur known for his significant involvement in the art world. The museum has reportedly hundreds of Hongshan jade pieces and more than 500 Chinese porcelains, with a focus on educating the public about the origins of the Korean people through Hongshan culture.

Jang Jin-woo, founder of DataCityWiMarket, described porcelain as the essence and cultural symbol of Northeast Asian ancient art, adding that RWA will enable these assets to transact directly with the global market. He also noted that even highly rare cultural assets, such as the Daegak Buddhist Avatamsaka Sutra, sacred relics, and a 23 kg sapphire, could be tokenized to reach a broader audience beyond exclusive information markets. The initiative aims to raise awareness of privately held domestic cultural treasures on the global stage and elevate Korea’s cultural standing. He emphasized a shift toward a stablecoin–driven token economy to support the broader diffusion of fragmental investing and to bring digital assets closer to regulatory frameworks, barring countries with crypto restrictions.
