Bitcoin price fell sharply as Middle East tensions escalated, triggering a rapid risk-off move and a surge in weekend liquidations. Prices moved from around 66,000 to 63,600, then briefly rebounded toward 64,000.
Over the week, BTC touched a weekly low around 62,500 before rising toward 70,000, only to retreat as selling pressure mounted. Altcoins also weakened in tandem, with overall market liquidations totaling about $450 million in 24 hours, including about $185 million in the latest hour.
Key levels to watch are 62,500, 63,600, and 68,000 dollars. Analysts say volatility could persist as markets assess geopolitical headlines and derivative-position dynamics.
