Bybit has introduced AI Trading Skill, a platform that links leading AI assistants to its trading and account management infrastructure via conversational prompts. The service interfaces with Bybit through 253 API endpoints and supports AI products including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Windsurf and OpenClaw. Bybit positions the release as advancing automated, agent-style trading workflows where software translates user instructions into a sequence of executable actions.

The offering comprises six modules that map to typical exchange tasks, starting with market intelligence—real-time prices, candlesticks, order-book depth and funding rates. The derivatives module adds leveraged trading and risk controls such as take-profit and stop-loss, plus conditional orders. Bybit frames this as part of a broader digital-asset wealth management journey alongside trading. The sixth module emphasizes advanced features, including real-time data pulls and order placement via WebSocket streams.

New users are guided through testnet trading first, enabling them to try AI-driven commands in a simulated environment before using real funds. For live trading, every transaction requires explicit confirmation to keep users in control even when instructions come from an AI assistant. The release follows Bybit’s previous AI initiatives, such as TradeGPT, and marks a shift from analysis to execution within the platform, including order placement and account management functions. Bybit says the AI Trading Skill broadens its AI integration across trading and wealth management and will expand the number of supported endpoints and functions as the AI Skills framework develops.
