Bitcoin was trading around $74,730, as it eyed a breakout above $75,000. Ethereum had surged about 10.7% to roughly $2,374. Ripple rose 7.01% to $1.53, while Binance Coin advanced about 1.81% to $680. Ripple’s jump lifted its market-cap ranking from fifth to fourth.
From February’s low, Bitcoin has rebounded roughly 25%. The broad crypto rally followed a sharp drop in crude oil prices, with WTI futures down about 5% to around $93 a barrel.
