Funding, which spans strategic investments and grants, will support platform development and accelerate institutional adoption of USDM1, the first fully collateralised sovereign debt instrument issued natively on blockchain infrastructure. This round underscores growing interest in on-chain sovereign finance and the potential for institutional engagement with blockchain-native debt products.
The funding round drew participation from prominent figures across global capital markets and digital asset infrastructure, including Balaji Srinivasan, Tama Churchouse, Richard Gorelick, and Dan Robichaud. Their involvement signals cross-border interest in integrating traditional and digital asset ecosystems to scale sovereign finance on-chain.
