USDT traded at 1,517 won on Upbit and Bithumb, marking an upward move. As of 10:40 p.m. KST on the 27th, it stood at 1,517 won on Upbit, up 8 won from the previous day, with the same level seen on Bithumb. USDT’s price moves in tandem with the won-dollar exchange rate, which has recently remained above 1,500 won. Because Tether is pegged to the dollar, its price tracks the won-dollar exchange rate.
With the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran weighing on markets, the won-dollar rate has continued to rise. Since it first closed above 1,500 won on the 19th, the rate has remained above that level.
