xStocks has partnered with Fundrise to move the Fundrise Innovation Fund onto a blockchain, marking a notable step in tokenised alternative investments. The collaboration focuses on enabling the Fundrise Innovation Fund to operate on-chain via the xStocks platform.
The arrangement will enable on-chain access to stakes in unlisted technology companies. Anthropic, Databricks and SpaceX are cited as examples of the unlisted firms featured in the on-chain allocation.
The tokenised asset, VCXX, is expected to begin trading on the xStocks platform within days. The development signals growing interest in tokenised stocks and on-chain investment avenues for private companies.
