The Avalanche Foundation announced Retro9000 C-Chain Round 2, with applications now open. The program rewards builders based on real on-chain activity, tying rewards to actual network usage. Round 2 introduces two new multipliers and an updated rewards structure, with the MVP of Build Games at Stage 2 receiving a 10x leaderboard ranking multiplier and new projects joining the ecosystem receiving a 5x multiplier.
If you competed in Round 1, you are already in and automatically entered into Round 2 with no action required. Retro9000 rewards builders based on real on-chain activity, with every transaction on the Avalanche C-Chain burning AVAX as a transparent, verifiable measure of genuine usage.
There are no committees deciding what counts and no subjective criteria; just on-chain activity driving your position. The Retro9000 referral program is also open: refer a project that goes on to receive funding and earn up to $3,000 in AVAX per project, per round. Apply now at retro9000.avax.network. Applications open Monday March 30th, with a snapshot starting Wednesday April 1st, closing Thursday April 16th, and the snapshot ending Thursday April 30th.
Disclaimer: Retro9000 grants are distributed by the Avalanche Foundation based on verified on-chain activity. Rewards are not investment returns and carry no financial guarantees.
