EDENA Capital Partners’ CEO Wook Lee delivered consecutive lectures at Cambridge and Oxford. Lee delivered the first lecture on March 26 at Jesus College, followed by a special lecture on March 31 at Christ Church College. The lectures were organized jointly by the blockchain societies of the two universities and Cantor8. Attendees included researchers and students from AI, financial engineering, and law.
Lee spoke about climate-change mitigation efforts and the Blue Carbon project in collaboration with the Indonesian government, as well as a sovereign RWA digitization initiative. He noted talks with the London Stock Exchange Group regarding collaboration and described plans to link his firm’s systems with Digital Market Infrastructure (DMI). EDENA Capital Partners is headquartered in Hong Kong and is pursuing financial infrastructure development that connects Asia and Europe, with projects in Indonesia and Pakistan. The company reportedly considers listing on either the New York Stock Exchange or the London Stock Exchange in the future.
One attending researcher commented that the talks demonstrated the convergence of finance and technology through concrete examples. Lee said the event offered a chance to shape the direction of financial infrastructure in the international academic community and to expand based on cooperation with global markets.
