Tether has unveiled QVAC SDK, a universal AI building block designed to tackle centralization challenges amid billions of devices and trillions of AI agents anticipated in 2026. The company positions QVAC as the cornerstone for an era of ‘Stable Intelligence,’ enabling AI to run across multiple platforms without centralized choke points. Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CEO, described the announcement, noting that current systems falter under the weight of billions of autonomous machines and trillions of AI agents.
The launch comes as regulators intensify scrutiny of AI monopolies, while investors view Tether’s pivot from stablecoins to AI infrastructure as a bold strategic move. The SDK promises seamless integration, allowing developers to build resilient networks that sidestep the bottlenecks plaguing today’s setups.
The move also aligns with blockchain-AI advances. Decentralized training protocols that gained traction in late 2025 signal a shift toward physics-compliant tech ecosystems.
