Many of the images related to Neukgu are believed to be synthetic. Early reports submitted to the fire department and police about sightings in the Daejeon area, including near Geojung-dong in Seo-gu, are also thought to be composites. Police and fire authorities, along with other agencies, formed a 250-person search team on the morning of the 8th to search, expanding the effort after reports that a wolf appeared near O-World.
