As the cryptocurrency market has been sliding, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes carried out a large-scale sale of Ethereum and other altcoins on the 17th.
Hayes dumped 1,480 ETH in two transactions, cashing out about $4.7 million.
He also liquidated major altcoins including 520 million ENA, 640,000 LDO, 1,630 AAVE, 28,670 UNI, and 132,730 ETHFI, adding downward pressure on the market.
The reasons for the sales were not disclosed, but they appear to reflect market uncertainty.
