Cloudflare’s widespread outage on Tuesday disrupted several crypto platforms, including Toncoin and Arbiscan, as well as major websites such as X (Twitter) and DefiLlama, due to widespread 500 errors. Cloudflare acknowledged the issue and said it is actively investigating and working on a fix.
Toncoin experienced what it described as a major outage, and Arbiscan, Arbitrum’s block explorer, also went down on Tuesday. Other sites, including X (Twitter) and DefiLlama, reported intermittent internal server errors during the outage.
Cloudflare acknowledged the problem at 11:48 UTC, stating it was aware of and investigating an issue impacting multiple customers, with widespread 500 errors, and the Cloudflare Dashboard and API also failing. BitMEX, a crypto exchange, said it was investigating an outage linked to the latest Cloudflare issues.
