New screenshots indicate Coinbase is building a full prediction market integration with Kalshi.
The images show a Coinbase-branded prediction markets interface developed in partnership with Kalshi.
One screenshot suggests the offering would run through Coinbase Financial Markets, the company’s derivatives unit, with Kalshi handling backend operations as a federally regulated platform.
Coinbase and Kalshi had previously announced a partnership on November 13, naming Coinbase as the custodian for Kalshi’s USDC-based event contracts.
The visuals are described as signaling the next evolution of that collaboration and could position prediction markets as a core element of Coinbase’s broader strategy.
Prediction markets have surged in the digital-asset space this year, with rising volumes on Kalshi and Polymarket drawing attention from mainstream investors.
These screenshots indicate Coinbase plans to let users trade in either USDC or USD across categories such as economics, politics, technology, sports, and science, with markets likely rolling out around trending events.
The trend extends beyond Coinbase; other major crypto exchanges are launching similar offerings, including Crypto.com’s new platform that will integrate with Trump Media, while Gemini is pursuing a comparable service as part of a broader “super app” push and has filed with the CFTC to become a designated contract market.
