Ripple’s XRP-USD hovered near $2.23, about 3% higher after a volatile week marked by whale selling and a broad crypto correction.
The latest swing followed the launch of three XRP ETFs—Canary Capital’s XRPC, Amplify’s fund, and Franklin Templeton’s EZRP—which drew roughly $245 million in net inflows.
Even as ETF demand appeared real, on-chain data showed large holders liquidated more than 200 million XRP within 48 hours of Canary’s debut, underscoring a sell-the-news dynamic.
ETF inflows may not immediately lift the spot price due to T+1 settlement and OTC accumulation, said XRPL Foundation officials.
Analysts project as much as $7.2 billion in total XRP ETF inflows over the next 12 months if more issuers enter the market, with Franklin Templeton and peers signaling additional listings.
Modeling by the XRPL Foundation suggests that steady, orderly purchases—roughly $600 million per month—could expand XRP’s market capitalization by about $720 billion and could push prices toward higher levels under favorable liquidity conditions.
On-chain metrics show that 58.5% of total XRP supply remains in profit, while 41.5% sits at a loss as whale selling continues.
XRP trades below the 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages (roughly $2.40, $2.48, $2.59, and $2.56 respectively), with Parabolic SAR dots above price and the RSI near 38.6, signaling ongoing selling pressure.
A symmetrical triangle pattern formed from about $3.90 to $1.80 is tightening near the apex; immediate support sits near $2.15, with a critical $2.05 line below which losses could accelerate toward the $1.80 zone, while resistance sits around the $2.52–$2.60 range and a daily close above $2.52 could invite short-covering-driven rallies toward $2.60–$2.85.
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index sits at 15, underscoring extreme pessimism even as Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin adoption grows from $50 million to $1 billion in market cap and Ripple Prime now processes about $2 billion in monthly settlement flows.
