Mu Digital, a Web3 platform bringing Asia’s credit markets onchain, announced a Pre-Seed funding round of US$1.5 million. The round – finalized earlier this year – includes participation from global investors across crypto and traditional financial institutions: UOB Venture Management, CMS Holdings, Signum Capital, Cointelegraph Accelerator and Echo. The company also welcomed notable individual angels from Monad, Cointelegraph, Gauntlet, Yield Guild Games, Kizzy, Clober, Perella Weinberg and Bank of America, among others.
The fundraise reinforces Mu Digital’s position as a category-defining real world assets (“RWA”) platform – built to deliver safer, uncorrelated yield backed by the US$20 trillion Asia credit market. “This investment validates our conviction that tokenized Asia credit will become a foundational yield source for the next generation of DeFi,” said Patrick Hizon, Co-Founder and CEO. “Asia’s fixed income landscape offers structurally higher returns, and we’re bringing that opportunity onchain with institutional discipline.”
Mu Digital will launch on Monad Mainnet on November 24, 2025. The company has launched a Pre-Deposit Program to offer early users access to the highest yield RWA assets and future Mu Digital and Monad ecosystem rewards. Mu Digital’s product suite includes Asia Dollar (AZND), a senior risk tranche backed by high quality Asia credit instruments, offering 6–7% native yield at launch, and muBOND, a junior risk tranche product designed for users seeking enhanced returns from tokenized Asia credit pools, offering up to 15% native yield at launch. Across the Monad ecosystem, users will be able to swap, leverage, speculate, and compound their yield.
