The Crypto Content Creator Campus (CCCC) held its third edition in Lisbon, focusing on monetization in the new Web3 era and new revenue opportunities. From November 14 to 17, Bitcoinist covered the events, speaking with influencers, key figures, and executives in the Web3 space. Zhou discussed the evolution of monetization and affiliate marketing, noting changes forcing an industry shift as licensing regimes take shape. He said that, as crypto becomes a regulated global financial system, creators who build for the long term will shape its future, adding that ‘people trust people faster than brands.’
On the event’s final day, Maye Musk discussed building a lasting personal brand monetized through authenticity. She was joined by Musa Tariq and Philippe Ben Mohamed to explore sustainability and ethical monetization in Web3. Tariq urged creators to view themselves as entrepreneurs with multiple income streams, stressing that a brand’s identity and differentiation are essential. The panel also examined how to monetize communities in an increasingly competitive Web3 space.
We spoke with Sergei Loiter, CEO of Search, AI, and AdTech at Yango, about AI’s impact on digital marketing, content creation, and monetization in Web3. He noted that while AI has long been part of digital marketing, generative AI has reshaped content production and how creators work. He argued that the biggest difference between Web2 and Web3 lies in content type rather than monetization models, and emphasized AI as a major enabler. Loiter advised new creators to treat content as a product, start with their audience, diversify distribution across platforms, and pursue monetization as a natural outcome of delivering high-value content, while remaining willing to learn from mistakes.
