imToken, a leading global Web3 self-custodial wallet, has added support for Stable, a Layer 1 blockchain that uses USDT as its native transaction token, to streamline stablecoin usage and payments. The collaboration aims to remove friction for stablecoin users, making digital payments faster and easier.

Since 2016, imToken has been at the forefront of stablecoin adoption, evolving with the Ethereum and Tron ecosystems. Today, a meaningful share of USDT transfers on Tron originates from imToken users.

Stablecoins are increasingly a gateway for mainstream users entering Web3, and imToken aims to make them practical for everyday life beyond storage and transfers. The launch of the imToken Card in 2024 demonstrates a path to spending stablecoins online and offline.

Under the Stable integration, users can pay gas fees using USDT, eliminating the need to hold multiple assets. Stable’s Account Abstraction framework supports seamless, low-cost stablecoin transfers, further lowering barriers to adoption. The collaboration combines Stable’s fast, seamless stablecoin transactions with imToken’s secure, user-centric wallet infrastructure to help people manage and move digital assets with confidence.

imToken sees stablecoins as the foundation of global digital payments and a key driver of financial inclusion. The integration expands imToken’s multi-chain footprint, particularly in regions where stablecoins power remittances, savings, and cross-border transfers.

By enabling USDT-based gas fees, imToken advances a frictionless Web3 finance model that connects digital assets with the real economy and lays the groundwork for next-generation stablecoin applications.
