Intuit, which includes TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, announced a partnership with Circle. The collaboration aims to expand a digital payments infrastructure centered on the USD-backed stablecoin USDC. In a Thursday announcement, Intuit said it had entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Circle.
This collaboration is designed to support fast and low-cost payments across Intuit’s diverse platforms. USDC will be introduced in key areas, including tax refunds, marketing services, and enterprise financial transactions. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire expressed that the alliance would extend USDC’s speed, efficiency, and flexibility into everyday financial activities.
USDC is a leading stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, recognized for its transparency and regulatory-friendly status, which underpins growing corporate adoption. Intuit’s partnership is aimed at enabling major consumers and small-business customers to use stable digital payment methods. The agreement highlights that cryptocurrencies are starting to take a foothold in corporate finance, with digital assets increasingly applied in areas like tax refunds and a continued expansion of real-world usage via stablecoins.
