In a year-end AMA, CZ identifies four core focus areas that defined 2025: Giggle Academy, YZi Labs, the BNB Chain ecosystem, and government advisory work. This framework signals a shift toward education, early-stage investing, ecosystem mentorship, and policy engagement, with regulation and on-chain use cases like prediction markets taking on greater importance. Giggle Academy now reaches about 90,000 users with a team of roughly 60, and remains a free education platform the founder intends to support long term. YZi Labs has accelerated its pace, completing around 70 investments and evaluating over 1,000 projects, while continuing the Easy Residency program and supporting 30–40 projects across two cohorts.
The BNB Chain ecosystem has shown renewed momentum, with on-chain transaction volume rising about 600% year over year and daily active addresses surpassing 2 million, placing its transaction volume among the top networks in the industry. Binance’s user base is approaching 300 million, underscoring ongoing growth even without direct founder involvement; yet global crypto adoption remains low, suggesting substantial medium- and long-term upside.
Prediction markets have begun to break out, with Kalshi and Polymarket demonstrating that real-money bets can improve information quality and signal meaningful potential for on-chain markets. YZi Labs backs strong teams rather than exclusive bets and supports an open ecosystem where multiple projects can grow, recognizing that markets tend to diversify rather than converge on a single winner. Real-world asset tokenization is among the most mature and actionable directions, enabling asset-backed financing and development; tokenizing sovereign or national assets can attract early capital for practical progress. AI and robotics are areas of heavy investment, with DePIN serving as a bridge between crypto networks and the physical world, and AI trading expected to integrate with crypto markets in nuanced, non-uniform ways.
