Cardano’s governance has officially approved the Critical Integrations Budget Info Action, marking a milestone for the ecosystem. The ratification paves the way for the integration of third-party data and oracle providers, including Dune and Pyth Network, into the Cardano blockchain. The measure won strong support, with six of the seven constitutional committee members voting in favor.

According to the Cardano Foundation, the community will now focus on building a successful ecosystem and on how data is accessed and understood on Cardano. The governance move suggests that the finer details of enabling advanced DeFi and real-world asset applications on Cardano will be given priority. With this action ratified, confirmed integrations like Pyth Network and Dune can move forward with structure, improving data access and understanding on Cardano.

EMURGO notes that while the BIA covers content and structure, the next phase involves the Treasury Withdrawal Action, signaling the release of actual funds. This critical step would move the integration from approved-on-paper to concrete execution, subject to oversight and support from the constitutional committee and delegated representatives.
