According to official announcements, Animoca Brands has completed the acquisition of SOMO, a digital collectibles and gaming company. SOMO focuses on transforming digital collectibles into playable, streamable, and tradable assets, with products including SOMO Codex, SOMO Duel, and SOMO Battleground. Following the acquisition, Animoca Brands plans to leverage its existing Web3 ecosystem to advance the SOMO brand. It will drive cross-platform promotion, and foster joint community growth.
