Moonbirds unveiled the Birbillions strategy, which aims to fuse a memecoin with physical collectibles and create a Web3 version of Pop Mart. PANews reported on January 15 that Moonbirds announced the Birbillions plan on the X platform.

The plan centers on two parallel aims: using the BIRB memecoin as a platform for cultural diffusion and community coordination. It also leverages Orange Cap Games’ manufacturing and distribution capabilities to convert online interest into sustainable physical-product sales and bring the IP to mainstream consumers.

From a strategic execution perspective, OCG achieved about $8 million in revenue from physical collectibles in its second year. TCG products alone generated more than $6 million in revenue within 12 months, and related Telegram stickers created more than $1.4 million in demand. OCG’s products currently reach North America’s largest hobby distribution network, establishing a stable retail channel. Looking at ecosystem growth data, since Moonbirds acquired the IP, the number of independent wallets rose from about 10,000 to nearly 400,000, signaling a substantial expansion of the community.
