Crypto markets tumbled across the board, with Bitcoin down 13%, Ethereum down 13%, and Ripple down 23%. The declines reflect a broad rout across major tokens as investors reassess risk in crypto assets.
Lower-price buying pressure helped Bitcoin pare its losses, allowing a recovery to around $64,000. Ripple fell 18%, moving from the fifth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap to the sixth.
A “loss of trust” sparked a further slide, with Bitcoin down about 9% and Ripple down about 17% in the accompanying update. Tech-stock weakness and regional tensions also weighed, with Binance Coin roughly 6% lower in the latest figures.
