Kim Sang-min, CEO of Bidan, the Busan-based digital asset exchange, met Eric Trump at a World Crypto Forum VIP gathering on October 10 at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Hotel. They discussed the future vision for blockchain-based digital finance and the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA). Eric Trump, delivering the opening keynote, spoke about WLFI, the blockchain-driven digital finance project he co-founds, and outlined the changes in the global digital asset market and the growth potential of asset tokenization.

Trump emphasized that asset tokenization is a core trend in global digital finance and that real-world asset-based digital assets can broaden investment accessibility and fundamentally transform financial markets. Kim described Bidan as Korea’s leading RWA trading platform that digitizes tangible assets such as gold and silver to provide a stable and transparent investment environment. He added that by integrating the trustworthiness of real assets with blockchain technology, Bidan is moving beyond a simple trading platform to set standards for the domestic RWA market. He also asserted that Busan is becoming Korea’s digital finance hub and announced plans to officially invite Eric Trump to Blockchain Week in Busan 2026.

WLFI, co-founded by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., is a decentralized finance project active in digital assets, Web3, and blockchain-based financial innovation. Meanwhile, Bidan intends to expand real-world asset-based digital asset offerings and broaden its global partnerships to strengthen international collaboration.
