According to PTPD, the JTPD will provide certified cryptocurrency investigative support in cases originating in Perry Township. The partnership also allows PTPD to leverage specialized expertise in the evolving areas of financial crime, ensuring investigations are more thorough and have improved outcomes. PTPD said there have already been produced positive results.
A recent case in Perry Township had investigative efforts led by the JTPD that resulted in a successful recovery of cryptocurrency funds that were able to be returned to the victim.
