Hanwha Investment & Securities has completed a strategic investment of approximately 18 billion won in Kresus, a United States-based Web3 infrastructure company. The investment signals Hanwha’s continued focus on expanding its Web3-based digital asset ecosystem.
Kresus specializes in Seedless recovery technology and MPC-based security, and operates enterprise digital wallet solutions and a real-world asset tokenization platform. The two companies previously signed a memorandum of understanding at Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025, and the investment will intensify technical collaboration.
Hanwha plans to leverage Kresus’ wallet security and tokenization infrastructure to enhance digital asset services and expand the RWA market by linking to existing financial products. This deal follows Hanwha’s recent investment in digital asset data platform Xangle, underscoring the group’s pace in building a Web3-based digital asset ecosystem.
