Binance has started offering tokenized securities on its Binance Alpha platform through a collaboration with Ondo, a blockchain-based platform focused on tokenizing real-world assets like securities and exchange-traded funds. The partnership is described as delivering a seamless and powerful trading experience that blends the familiar Binance Exchange with on-chain asset opportunities. Tokenization turns real-world assets, such as real estate or commodities, into blockchain-based tokens that can be traded and divided into fractional ownership.

The launch is not available to U.S. users, and the move marks a comeback for Binance after prior regulatory scrutiny in other markets. Binance had previously offered tokenized stocks of companies such as Apple and Tesla but halted that service amid regulatory concerns in the United Kingdom and Germany.
