Reveil, a Web3-based AI payment platform, announced that its payment service Reva AI can transmit stablecoins over WhatsApp. Users can initiate payments with simple text commands, for example “@REVApay_ai send $20 to @username,” and Reva AI will execute the transaction within seconds. No app switching or wallet address entry is required, as payments are initiated through messaging alone.
All transactions are settled in USDC on the Base network. Recipients can access funds even if they have never used cryptocurrency, simply by using their WhatsApp number and receiving a notification to set up an account. Incoming funds can be connected to a wallet via Privy Pay(ID) for use with a preferred address.
WhatsApp, used by roughly three billion people worldwide, enables instant, borderless payments without fees. Reva AI previously supported payments on X and Telegram, and the WhatsApp integration aims to broaden access to cross-border, real-time settlement, presenting a new financial experience where conversations become the payment channel.
