Kraken’s xStocks has launched Xchange, an on-chain execution layer designed to bridge the liquidity gap between Ethereum and Solana for trading more than 70 tokenized equities. The platform anchors on-chain prices to traditional public market data, enabling intermediary-free trading across two major smart-contract ecosystems and using the 1inch Swap API to access deep liquidity pools, significantly reducing slippage and providing competitive rates. Every transaction is executed as a single, indivisible instruction, ensuring trades complete at the quoted price or do not execute at all. Additionally, by operating across Ethereum and Solana, Xchange supports 24/5 trading.
“Xchange is about redefining how equities trade in a digital-first world,” said Val Gui, general manager of xStocks, noting that it brings real-world market liquidity on-chain and turns tokenized stocks into fully programmable, always-on assets that can power the next generation of global financial applications. The collaboration with 1inch anchors tokenized equities into the broader DeFi plumbing, connecting traditional market liquidity with blockchain transparency. Fully collateralized by underlying shares held in regulated custody, Xchange maintains price integrity between on-chain and real-world equity exposure. Since its debut in June 2025, the xStocks ecosystem has surpassed $3.5 billion in total on-chain transaction volume and $25 billion in total trading volume across secondary exchanges, with more than $225 million in tokenized assets on-chain and more than 80,000 holders.
Xchange is xStocks’ on-chain execution layer that bridges liquidity between Ethereum and Solana for trading over 70 tokenized equities. It facilitates intermediary-free trading by anchoring on-chain prices to traditional market data, enhancing liquidity and efficiency. 1inch provides deep liquidity through its Swap API, significantly reducing slippage and offering competitive rates for tokenized assets. Transactions rely on atomic on-chain settlement, meaning trades execute fully at the quoted price or not at all, eliminating partial fills.
