LedgerLink has completed a SOC 2 Type II examination, reinforcing its commitment to bank-grade security, controls, and operational rigor as regional and community banks expand into blockchain-enabled services. The audit, conducted by Johanson Group, confirms LedgerLink’s information security controls meet leading industry standards for banking and financial services.
The SOC 2 Type II assessment demonstrates that LedgerLink’s controls operate effectively over an extended period under the AICPA Trust Services Criteria. CEO Greg Sossaman noted that connecting banks to blockchains requires an operational standard that matches the banking environment, highlighting LedgerLink as trusted infrastructure adaptable to various core banking systems and networks. LedgerLink’s bank-first architecture is designed to enforce governance, approvals, and auditability, enabling banks to adopt Web3 services without compromising risk posture.
President Austin Vincent emphasized that banks need defensible controls, not hype, and highlighted LedgerLink’s capability to support staged adoption of digital-asset and Web3 offerings in alignment with institutional requirements. The company also stated the audit report is available to clients under NDA, underscoring the confidential nature of the validation as banks review their adoption timelines.
